Rachael is a music therapist and musician based in Cambridge. She loves to share her passion for music with others through her work and seeing how it can help those in need.
You can often find her at a local open mic night, rehearsing with a choir or reading up on current music therapy research.
Rachael believes that music effects everyone in their everyday lives whether you notice it or not. Music is conscious and unconscious and holds so much power. Music can change your entire mood, remind you of a lost memory, create new memories and bring people together. It also has healing qualities, through emotional well-being, and can be harnessed in a therapeutic way to support people who’s lives have been affected by illness, injury or disability.
